Your Lambert & Ewers ham should be frozen or cold to the touch upon arrival.
If serving your Lambert & Ewers ham within five days place your ham in your refrigerator. If not pace it in your freezer. Thaw your ham in your refrigerator three or four days before warming and/or serving.
Your Lambert & Ewers ham is fully cooked a ready to enjoy cold or at room temperature!
To warm your ham please preheat your oven to 275 degrees. Calculate your total warming time. 12-15 minutes per pound multiplied by the weight of your ham. Note: ovens frequently vary.
Remove the Lambert & Ewers ham from the plastic packaging (be sure to remove the plastic bone guard from the face of the ham as well) Brush your ham with half of our special ham glaze. Cover loosely with foil or place in an oven proof cooking bag. Warm at 275 degrees for approximately 12-15 minutes per pound of total warming time. DO NOT OVER WARM YOUR HAM.
15 minutes before the end of total warming time, carefully open the foil and brush the remaining ham glaze onto your ham. Resume warming until you have reached your approximated calculated warming time.
Any leftovers should be consumed in three days or frozen as soon as possible. For best results use any frozen leftovers withing three months.
